The institutions of the Rhineland Regional Council (Landschaftsverband Rheinland) attach great importance to offering disabled people good facilities and a personal service. At the LVR-RömerMuseum, barrier-free access is hence more than just a word.
The LVR-RömerMuseum is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The ramps consist of a sequence of level and ascending sections. Moreover, the museum has a special elevator where priority is given to mobility impaired visitors.
The media offered throughout the exhibition also take the special needs of disabled people into account. In addition to easy to read legends, there are various exhibits that may be touched. Audio plays provide an impression of life in the Roman city.
We are looking forward to your visit. Please contact our Museum Education department for more information.
