Because of the corona pandemic, the LVR-RömerMuseum and other park facilities are closed or have limited access, admission is free. On this page you will find compact information for your visit.
Until September 30th:
Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Monday.
From October 1st:
Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Monday.
The pavilions in the park will remain closed, as will parts of the playgrounds and the game house.
We are checking that the closed playgrounds will open as soon as possible.
Some parts of the Roman buildings such as the Roman homes and the hostel also remain closed. The amphitheater and the harbour temple are restricted.
Entry to the APX costs a flat rate of 5 € for adults. Children under 18 years free!
It is mandatory to wear protective masks over the mouth and nose at the entrances and in designated areas in the park. Please bring your own masks.
We ask for your understanding that simple face visors offer insufficient protection and are therefore not accepted.
No entry for groups bigger than 5 persons. We ask for your understanding that there may be waiting times at the entrances. Reservations are currently not possible.
You can book guided tours in the Archaeological Park. The tours only take place outdoors, the group sizes are reduced, all participants must wear a protective mask.
All events are canceled until the end of September!
The Roman restaurant and the cafe remain closed. Some snacks and drinks are sold at the KaffeeMühle near the LVR-RömerMuseum.
