We are glad about the reopening of the APX. Because of the corona pandemic, the LVR-RömerMuseum and other park facilities are closed or have limited access, admission is free. On this page you will find compact information for your visit.

Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Monday.

The LVR-RömerMuseum and the pavilions in the park will remain closed, as will the shops, playgrounds and the game house.
We are checking that the playgrounds will open as soon as possible.

The Roman buildings such as the Roman homes and the hostel also remain closed. The amphitheater and the harbour temple are restricted.

Admission to the LVR-Archaeological Park is free until further notice!

It is mandatory to wear protective masks over the mouth and nose at the entrances and in designated areas in the park. Please bring your own masks.

A maximum of 1,000 people are currently allowed to stay in the APX. Access is only possible with a maximum of two people or as a family. No entry for groups. We ask for your understanding that there may be waiting times at the entrances. Reservations are currently not possible.

All events and guided tours are canceled until further notice.

The Roman restaurant and the cafe remain closed. Only packed snacks and drinks are sold at the Taberna on weekends and public holidays. It is prohibited to picnic on the entire park area.

We ask for your understanding for these regulations. Due to possible current changes, we recommend to revisit this page shortly before your visit.
