Research

The LVR-APX preserves an archaeological monument of European importance. Ongoing excavations and diverse research projects make Xanten an important site for Roman archaeology.
The LVR-APX is therefore also a centre for a wide range of research projects. The scientists at the site work in close co-operation with universities, museums and other research institutions.
This page will be expanded in the near future with information on current scientific projects.
