Groups
Every trip needs a good destination. The pleasant atmosphere and unique blend of culture and recreation make a visit to the LVR Archaeological Park Xanten (APX) a special group experience for senior citizens, company outings, students and children's birthday parties. For groups of ten or more, we welcome you with offers tailored to your needs and a discount on the admission price.
Groups can explore the entire park grounds on their own. Information boards and themed pavilions enable a relaxing and informative tour of the Roman town.
We pay special attention to guests with limited mobility. Further information about our services is available here.
Guided tours and workshops

If you don't want to explore the Archaeological Park entirely on your own, we are happy to offer guided tours and workshops. Upon prior reservation, our museum docent will guide your group through the park or the LVR-Römermuseum according to your wishes and priorities.
What was everyday life like for the inhabitants? What kind of work did they do and how did they entertain themselves in their free time? During the guided tours, you can learn more about the gladiator games in the amphitheatre or about bathing and wellness treatments in the Roman Empire.
More information can be found here.
Catering
In the green areas of the APX, you can have a picnic with your group or, if you register your group in advance, take a break with coffee and cake in the Kaffeemühle:
